- Synopsis: Rewrites section 1006.15, the Craig Dickinson Act. It creates one “eligible student” term for all students, keeps the parent-principal agreement on how home education students show academic progress, and lets students choose any school in their district. Home education students pay only the fees enrolled students pay, while districts may charge PEP scholarship students capped fees approved and posted by July 1 (Home Education Foundation).
- Rating: 👍👎 Mixed. The Home Education Foundation calls the protection of evaluation rights the biggest win. However, PEP scholarship students may now be charged activity fees.
