Red River Rattlers Win Second Straight 18U Homeschool Volleyball National Title

Local Homeschool News: Texas

Back-to-back champions! The Red River Rattlers won their second straight 18U national championship at this year’s Homeschool Nationals volleyball tournament (Prep Dig).

The Rattlers swept FBCHA in the title match, 25-17, 25-17, 25-15. Strong serving kept their opponent off balance, and good passing helped the Rattlers turn first contacts into scoring chances. Their defense kept rallies alive, and an energetic bench cheered them on from the first serve to the last point.

Prep Dig highlighted four Texas players from the team: Shelby Moore, Susie Seethaler, Jayme Johnson, and Grace Hoover. Seethaler and Johnson are only sophomores, so the future looks bright.

Homeschool sports teams give students a chance to compete, build friendships, and learn teamwork. Congratulations to the Rattlers on a great season! For more on homeschooling in the state, see our Texas Homeschool Laws page.
